[LG phones] - LG Vu further slides into view

Those eagerly anticipating the LG Vu now have a little more to go by — at least visually, anyway. The specs floating around jibe with everything we’ve heard, and apparently include a nice 3-inch 400 x 240 display. Head on over to Phone Arena for more.

[motorola phones] - Motorola passes muster chez the FCC, still bound for AT&T?

We’ve heard whisperings about the AT&T bound MOTO Z9 since July last year. The handset popped up again just before Christmas with a rumored launch date of January 2008, and, of course, that date blew by. All hail and praise the FCC for outing this fella this time, but seriously, how about getting it out the door already? Hopefully the joyful event that is CTIA will be the venue where we finally see the Z9 both announced and launched.

[Nokia Phones] - Lowly (but 3G) Nokia 3555 hits retail for T-Mobile

Right on time, the Nokia 3555 flip has come to add precisely zero spice or flair to T-Mobile’s nascent 3G lineup, a ragtag group of middling phones that currently includes the Samsung t639 and t819 along with the Nokia 6263. To be fair, the $50 price on contract is plenty easy on the pocketbook, but we don’t see anyone getting too excited about the VGA camera or bland styling — and it’s not like there’s an expansive display here to take advantage of mobile browsing atop T-Mobile’s AWS UMTS network or anything cool like that. Alas, you can get this blue bundle of joy starting today.

Keepin’ it real fake, part CXIV: the N95 FM radio… from Asaki

It’s just what you’ve been waiting for — a Nokia N95 running Windows Mobile. It looks like the rumors were true after all! What’s that? This is not a real phone? It’s just an FM radio with a sticker on the screen? Oh bother. Yes folks, thanks to eagle-eyed tipster Eric, you’re looking at the next evolution in gadgetry — the Asaki N95 FM radio. We’re not sure what the going price for this is, but we’d imagine slightly less than $779, though the real N95 doesn’t come with those totally pimped-out headphones, does it?
