This third EDGE model from Nokia is also built on the 40 platform but does already have an expansion slot for MMS and improved camera.
This is a bit plainer version of D500 in another form-factor. The differences are the absence of IrDA, megapixel camera (in D500 it is 1.3 megapixel), less memory. At the same time possibilities of working with video and recording it grew.
